Document Description
The proposed project consists of two components: 1) Florin Farm and Open Space Park, an approx 10.3-are urban farm/community garden; and 2) Heritage Park, an approx 2.3-acre neighborhood recreational facility proposed in the southern portion of the site. Florin Farm and Open Space Park would consist of a combination of crop fields, community garden plots, and open space as well as a 3,500 sf barn structure with restroom, irrigation well and enclosure, paved parking area and access driveway. Heritage Park would consist of a public gathering area with shelter structure and picnic tables, future ag demonstration area, paved multi-use trail, parking lot, and associated site improvements.
