Document Description
The CDFW has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2018-0270-R3, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Phillips 66 Pipeline, LLC. The project is limited to investigation and repair of a 16-inch diameter crude oil pipeline. An excavator or backhoe will be used to dig down to the top of the pipe at approximately three feet below the ground surface. the trench will be approximately six feet deep Once the pipeline is exposed, shoring will be placed in the excavation. The existing corrosion protection wrapping will be removed from the area around anomaly. The pipe will then be sandblasted to remove residual coating and other debris. The anomaly will be investigated and repaired. The repaired and adjoining sandblasted portions of the pipeline will be coated in an epoxy corrosion barrier and allowed to cure. The excavation will be backfilled and compacted to meet original grade.
