Document Description
The proposed project would involve demolition/removal of the existing Office of State Publishing's and Facilities Maintenance Division's facilities on the existing site at 344 North 7th St, including demolition of the 283,000 sf State Printing facility; removal of on-site utility infrastructure (e.g. water and wastewater pipelines); removal of hazardous materials stored on the existing site (e.g. printing chemicals, gear oil, etc.); demolition of the 43,000 sf textbook warehouse; demolition of four large GHG and associated facilities on the FMD-occupied portion of the property; and demolition/removal of 4.7 acres of landscaping areas, employee and visitor parking areas, and other asphalt paved storage and receiving areas. Additionally, the proposed project would relocate employees and equipment at the existing site at 344 North 7th St to two proposed relocation sites. Of the approx 197 existing employees at the existing OSP facility, approx 171 employees would be transferred to OSP Relocation Site 1 and approx 16 employees would be transferred to OSP Relocation Site 2.
