Document Description
DTSC is considering approval of a ROD for Site CG041 at 1, Beale Air Force Base in CA under chp 6.8, div 20, sec 25323.1 and 25356.1 pursuant to the Health and Safety Code. The purpose of the project is to remediate groundwater contaminated by past Air Force base operations causing release of hazardous chemicals to the groundwater. Site CG 041 encompasses seven plumes at the base referred as CG 041-010, CG041-016, CG041-017, CG041-018, CG041-029, CG041-035 and CG041-039. Preferred alternatives consist of wide varieties of components depending on the plume which includes Hot Spot Treatments, Land use advisory, land use controls and replacing a part of Slurry Wall.
