Existing communication lines traversing Upper Beach Lake have deteriorated to the point of near failure. The project consists of the removal and replacement of thirteen poles over one construction season. Existing poles will be removed by a boom truck, holes will be filled in with native material, and new poles will be set in newly-dug holes at a depth of six to seven feet and backfilled with crushed rock and native material.
