Document Description
The Lassen County Fire Safe Council in partnership with the Eagle Lake Ranger District of the Lassen National Forest are proposing watershed restoration, forest health, and fuels treatments in the Diamond Mountain watershed. The Diamond Mountain Watershed Restoration and Wildland Urban Interface (WUI) Project planning area encompasses approx 8,195 acres of National Forest System lands administered by the Eagle Lake Ranger District of the Lassen National Forest. The entire project area lies within a wildland urban interface zone, which is an area where human habitation is mixed with areas of flammable wildland vegetation.
