Caltrans proposes to install Zero Emissions Vehicle (ZEV) electric charging stations throughout Kern, Kings, Tulare, Fresno and Madera Counties. Level 3 areas involve using two Fast DC chargers and one parking space per charge station. Chargers will be in steel cages to help prevent vandalism. Electrical transformers will be on 12'x12' concrete pads and switchboards will be on 12'x6' concrete pads.
