Document Description
The proposed project is the replacement of an existing two-lane bridge, located on Road 5 1/2 that is currently closed due to structural failure. The project will include demolition of the existing bridge, modifications to the existing roadway approach, construction of the new bridge, use of temporary construction easements for utility relocation, and use of a temporary staging area. The replacement bridge will remain a two-lane bridge to be used for local traffic, but will be both longer and wider than the existing bridge to better accommodate larger vehicles (approx.. 70 feet long and 34 feet 11.5 inches wide). The roadway adjacent to the bridge will be resurfaced as well.
