Document Description
This proposed project involves a correction to the amended ITP as approved on November 29, 2023 that included: 1) an update to the Authority section of the amended ITP to revise the title of the Principal Officer for two of the three permittees; 2) added language to the Effective Date and Expiration date of this ITP section that states the corrected amended ITP supersedes the November 29, 2023 amended ITP version; and 3) the addition of clarifying language to the previously amended Condition of Approval 7.6 to further describe the monitoring requirements. The corrections to the amended ITP will not increase the impacts or mitigation as stated in the original ITP. The Project will result in impacts to 1,984 acres of desert tortoise (Gopherus agassizii). The project is expected to result in incidental take of desert tortoise, which is designated as a threatened/ candidate endangered species under the California Endangered Species Act. The ITP referenced above as issued by CDFW authorizes incidental take of species listed under CESA that may occur as a result of Project implementation.
