Document Description
This proposed project involves an amendment to the ITP 2081-2021-015-06 to include the two additional Permittees covering their respective phases. Table 1 shows which permittee is assigned to each Phase, Table 2 shows the new phases, and t the required mitigation credits are aligned with the phases. The performance security matches the new phases and is required prior to each phase rather than 30 days from the effective date of the ITP. Changes to the project will not increase the impacts or mitigation stated in the original ITP. The Project will result in impacts to 1,984 acres of desert tortoise (Gopherus agassizii) habitat. The project is expected to result in incidental take of desert tortoise, which is designated as a threatened species under the California Endangered Species Act. The ITP referenced above as issued by CDFW authorizes incidental take of species listed under CESA that may occur as a result of Project implementation.
