- Document Description
- The 7 existing intake pipes [5 that are owned and operated by TV Trees and 2 that serve Summer Hill] are nearing the end of their useful service life and need to be replaced. The county of Madera/County Service Area-16 has legal responsibility for operating the 2 intakes pipes that serve Summer Hill. These two pipes are part of a diversion and water treatment system that has been determined by a report prepared for the county/CSA-16 is taking the lead to replace all 7 pipes with a single intake pipe to serve both county/CSA-16 and Tesoro Viejo Master Mutual Water Company, which will be assuming operational control from TV Trees, LLC. The existing river intakes are located within a man-made cove on the San Joaquin River.
