Leasing of Existing Parole Office Space
NOE - Notice of Exemption
The CDCR is renewing its lease at the Bermuda Dunes Parole Office. The continued use as an office is consistent with local zoning regulations. There will be no increase in occupancy or parking beyond the existing levels.
The lease renewal is necessary to provide sufficient facilities for parole staff to implement CDCR's mission of successful offender community transition and public safety.

Notice of Exemption
Type, Section or Code
Reasons for Exemption
The project consists of leasing an existing public or private structure and faculty involving negligible or no expansion of use (CEQA Guidelines 15301). This is one of a class of project that the secretary for resources has found does not have a significant effect on the environment, and therefore is declared to be categorically exempt from the requirement for preparing an environmental document. None of the exception to a notice of exemption applies.
