Document Description
The CDCCR is going to construction a recreation yard on the north side of Facility D within the secure perimeter of Pelican Bay State Prison. This yard will consist of a multipurpose field, a basketball half-court, two handball courts, two fitness areas, fifteen tables, a restroom, a drinking fountain, a storage container, and an observation post for custody staff to monitor yard activities. This project area is developed and disturbed.
The recreation yard project is necessary to provide general population inmate in facility d with the necessary space to participate in recreational and physical education programs in support to rehabilitate actives.
