Document Description
The proposed project would renovate two existing laboratory rooms in the Urey Hall building. Scope of work includes removal of the wall between the rooms and replacing with two additional walls to have four spaces, including an entry vestibule for laser sources, electromagnets and vacuum chambers. Scope of work would also include removal of perimeter drywall to install sound batts. Scope of work would also include HVAC modifications, plumbing and electrical work for the chillers and heat exchanges for cooling lasers, power supplies, vacuum pumps, ultrasonic cleaners and sink. Flooring would be removed and replaced with static dissipative rubber tile, and walls would be patched and painted as needed.
