Document Description
Replace the roof on the Vernon House also known as residence 7 within Marshall Gold Discovery State Historic Park to preserve and protect the building and maintain its structural integrity. Work will: Remove existing roofing materials; Inspect skip-sheathing and rafters and replace, in-kind, if needed; prior to installation, mark new skip-sheathing and rafters with installation date, for future identification as non-historic material; Install Class B fire rated cedar wood shingles using galvanized roofing staple with a 5 1/2" reveal and double starter course; and install new standard white 5" Valor Leaf guard System Gutter and New Positive Flow Downspouts.
