Replace the roof on the vernon House also known as Residence 7 within marshall Gold Discovery State Historic Park to preserve and protect the building and maintain its structural integrity. Work will:
Remove existing roofing materials
Inspect skip-sheathing and rafters and replace, in-kind,if needed
Prior installation, mark new skip-sheathing and rafters with installation date, for future identification as non-historic material
Install Class B fire rated cear wood shingles using galvanized rooding staple with a 5 1/2 reveal and double starter course
Install new standard white 5" valor leafguard system gutter and new positive flow downspouts
Replacement and Reconstruction of existing structures and facilities where the new structure will be located on the same site as the structure replaced and will have substantially the same purpose and capacity as the structure replaced and is included as "re-roofing".
