Document Description
The State Water Resources Control Board (State Water Board), as the responsible agency, will be issuing a water supply permit. The City of Bakersfield converted an agricultural well to domestic water well. The existing well was connected to the existing water system through 2,700 feet of 24-inch piping. The piping was buried to run along a gravel road near the Kern River Canal, and under a set of railroad tracks to connect in with piping from the rest of the existing water system. The 24-inch piping that runs under the railroad tracks ws enclosed in a 36-inch casing, 57 feet long. The project will provide for the operation of the facilities.
