Document Description
The purpose of this project is to prevent the discharge of debris and contaminants into coastal waters through installation of various spill containment and oil and pollution cleanup equipment at the Avalon Harbor. The City of Avalon Harbor Dept. will install three types of water quality improvement equipment with funding anticipated from the State of CA Ocean Protection Council Proposition 1 Grant. Final equipment placement locations are not yet determined.
