- Document Description
- PG&E proposes to expand the Wild Goose Valve Lot to accommodate the installation of new facilities. Most of the proposed action would occur within PG&E easement. Proposed excavation within the valve lot will include an 8-foot by 22-foot bell hole and a 16-foot by 12-foot trench, while two 2-foot by 40-foot trenches will cut across West Liberty Road. On the expanded Wild Goose Valve Lot, two new test heads will be installed. The expanded valve lot will also accommodate the installation of a new 12-inch diameter pig receiver, as well as a 16-inch and an 8-inch diameter pig launcher. Under the proposed action, all bell holes and trenches will be backfilled with the spoils that were originally removed. The proposed action at the Wild Goose Valve Lot will require approx. 800 cubic yards of fill material to bring up the grade. These fill materials will come from locally-graded soils. A 0.29 acre seasonal wetland on the property will be filled with PG&E will provide compensatory mitigation as required by the US Army Corps of Engineers.
