Document Description
The District proposes to install an ADA compliant wheelchair lift to the existing stage area, as well as remove and replace the existing doors in the Auditorium/Cafeteria building on the La Jolla Elementary School campus. The doorframes of the Auditorium/Cafeteria would remain intact. The proposed project would occur enturely within the existing Auditorium/Cafeteria building was constructed in 1950, and thus has reached the 50-year benchmarkfor consideration as a potential historical resource. However, the doors that would be replaced as part of the proposed project are less than 50 years old, and no other feature of the building would be altered as part of the proposed project. The proposed project would not result in an increase in student capacity or student enrollment.
