- Document Description
- The proposed project involves acoustical upgrades to the various educational spaced within an existing two-story classroom building at Knox Middle School, including 14 classrooms, one science classroom and one music room. An acoustical study determined the need to add ceiling-mounted acoustica; panels to reduce echo and improve the delivery of audible instruction in these educational spaces. Each classroom is proposed to include approximately 350 square feet of acoustical panels. The ceiling-mounted panels would be placed in each educational space to allow for the best performance, and would avoid conflicts with building security, electrical, and mechanical systems.
