The purpose of this project is to prevent the discharge of debris and contaminants into coastal waters through installation of various spill containment and oil and pollution cleanup equipment at the Crescent City Harbor. The Crescent City Harbor District will install three types of water quality improvement equipment with funding placement locations are not yet permitted. Statutory S: 15282(k) Consists of the operation, repair, maintenance, permitting, leasing, licensing, or minor alteration of existing public or private structures, facilities, mechanical equipment, or topographical features, involving negligible or no expansion of use . Class 11 is for "accessory structures" consisting of construction or placement of minor structures. Exempts the installation of new pipeline or maintenance, repair, restoration, removal, or demolition of an existing pipeline, as long as the project does not exceed one mile in length.
