Document Description
The project is limited to activities associated with the diversion of water from Willow Creek via a temporary gravel dam, down a ditch approximately 250 feet to a weir/screen inlet, and then piped to nearby field for irrigation. The activities include moving approximately 1 cubic yard of material from the diversion ditch to the creek to establish a gravel dam for conveying water to conversion ditch. At the conclusion of the summer when the creek is dry, the material placed in the channel is moved back to the diversion ditch. The diversion is managed by the Scott Valley & Shasta Valley Watermaster District and in compliance with the State Water Resources Control Board Division of Water Rights. Work for the water diversions will include use and maintenance of existing water diversion infrastructure
