Document Description
The State Water Resources Control Board (State Water Board) as the lead agency will be issuing a water supply permit. California Water Service Company - Bakersfield will pour a 467 square foot 2-foot minimum concrete pad and install 2 12-foot diameter, approximately 16.61 foot high tall vessels to treat TCP. Approximately 386 feet of 1-8-incg piping will be installed to connect the treatment tanks to the system. A 80-foot long, 8-inch discharge line will drain to a new 2 square foot catch basin, and from there a 22 foot, 12-inch diameter discharge line will be installed to drain to an existing Kern County drainage basin. A 6-inch 27-foot line will be installed to connect existing treatment vessels on the site to the new discharge line. 87 feet of existing 8-12 inch piping will be removed for the project. A new chlorine injection point will be installed. An existing meter will be replaced with a new meter. Sample taps and a sample station will also be installed. The construction will occur within a 10,000ft square area on an existing fenced well site lined with crushed rock and fenced sump site.
