CARB is proposing to establish GHG planning targets for purposes of the integrated resource planning process pursuant to SB 350. SB 350 instructs CARB, in coordination with the Energy Commission and the CA Public Utilities Commission, to establishing GHG planning targets for the electricity sector and each load-serving entity. In response to this and to Board Resolution 17-46, CARB is initiating a formal process, with Board approval, to establish GHG planning targets that conform to SB 350.
