The proposed Community Air Protection Program Framework will describe the process and actions to meet the requirements of AB 617. Specifically, the Framework will provide criteria for air district development of community monitoring plans and emissions reduction programs, the development of a technology clearinghouse and the statewide strategy for actions to reduce emissions. The Framework will also establish how communities should be identified and selected for the aforementioned and programs.
