Caltrans is proposing to rehabilitate and replace: drainage culverts, down-drains or over-side drains that have either deteriorated beyond the design life or have lost serviceability due to age, wear or degradation at 19 project locations. These locations are along the SR 99 and SR 152 within Merced County, and I-5 and SR 12 within San Joaquin County. The physical characteristics and conditions of Caltrans drainage systems assets and culverts are assessed by a culvert inspection program.
