Document Description
The proposed project will consist the removal of the existing bridge and associated footings and replacing it with a wider, single-span precast bridge structure. The precast bridge will be approx 40-ft long and 30-ft wide with 2 11-ft travel lanes and 4 ft shoulders. The bridge will be approx 7ft 8in from the top of the footings to the peak of the arch. The abutments of the structure will consist of two precast headwalls with 4 precast wingwalls that will taper in height. The wingwalls will be approx 10 ft long and offset from the roadway alignment. The roadway approaches will be repaved and will extend up to 200 ft on both sides of the existing bridge. Guardrails will extend approx 15-20 ft down access roadways adjacent to the bridge.
