Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes a project to permanently restore a portion of State Route 1 in Ventura County that has incurred severe wave damage. The project proposes replacing the existing Rock Slope Protection and constructing a new seawall from post milr 4.5 to 4.6 in Ventura County. Additionally a secant wall will be constructed to protect the abutments of Nig Sycamore Bridge and to stabilize the west side of the highway. Exist bridge railings will be replaced and all Metal beam Guardrails (MBGRs) will be upgraded to Midwest Guardrail System (MGS).
