- The proposed project would provide intersection improvements consisting of an additional northbound left-turn lane along Colma Rd; increase the southbound left- and right-turn storage along Colima Rd; construct new curb and gutter and sidewalks on the northbound side of Colima Rd in the southeast quadrant of the intersection; increase the westbound left-turn storage along the Whittier Blvd; provide a westbound right turn pocket along Whittier Blvd; and construct a new retaining wall, new curb and gutter, and sidewalks on the westbound side of Whittier Blvd in the northeast quadrant of the intersection. Additionally, an option is proposed that would include improvements to Colima Rd only.
