The SWRCB as the lead agency will be issuing a water supply permit for this Project. the Golden State Water Company proposes to install two new 0.6 million-gallon reservoirs, on a 46,250 foot squared pad, and a 270,000 gallon retention pond in the northwestern end of Barstow, wet of I-15, on undeveloped land. The retention pond will act to retain water in the event of a reservoir overflow. Installation will also include approx. 1,200 feet of 16-inchductile iron piping to connect the new reservoirs to the existing Eaton plant site, and approx. 325 feet of 12-inch of HDPE drain pipe will be laid to connect the reservoirs to the retention pond. Approx. 1,100 feet of 4 inch barbed wire fence and approx. 2,200 feet of 8-inch steel tube fencing will also be installed on the property. A Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition system will be installed. An approx. 15 foot by 500 foot paved access road will also be laid. The Project will provide for the operation of the system.
