Document Description
The proposed project will install two new 0.6-million gallon reservoirs, on a 46,250-sf pad, and a 1.0-M gallon retention pond in the northwestern end of Barstow, west of I-15, on undeveloped land. The retention pond will act to retain water in the event of a reservoir overflow. Installation will also include approx 1,200 ft of 16-in ductile iron piping to connect the new reservoirs to the existing Eaton plant site, and approx 450 ft of 12-in HDPE drain pipe will be laid to connect the reservoirs to the retention pond. Approx 1,100 ft of 4-in barbed wire fence and approx 2,200 ft of 8-in steel tube fencing will also be installed on the property. A supervisory control and data acquisition system will be installed. An approx 15 ft by 500 ft paved access road will also be laid.
