Document Description
The project proposes amendments to the city of El Cajon Zoning Code. The proposed amendments are to address the need for minor changes to provide clarification or correct inconsistencies as well as streamline permit processes. Edits to the text are primarily technical in nature. The proposed changes to the zoning code include: elimination of obsolete land use categories; modifications to the land use tables to reduce permit review levels; and modifications to the regulations for accessory dwelling units, landscaping and massage establishments pursuant to new state statutes and that have generally no impact on surrounding uses.
