- Note: Initial Study The project is an interchange improvement project located within the city of Lancaster, Palmdale, LA County and Caltrans jurisdictions. The project proposes to improve traffic operation and safety to motorists and pedestrians by widening Avenue M, between 10th St West and 20th St W, modifying the existing SR 14/Ave M interchange, and providing bicycle and pedestrian access. This project will be funded by the LACMTA Measure R Hwy Equity Funds.
