Document Description
The Ventura General Plan Refinement Project consists of actions to refine the city's general plan and the zoning code portion of the city's municipal code. Proposed actions include making land use designation and zoning code modifications relating to mixed-use development; amending the Victoria Ave Corridor Development Code and Montalvo Planning Neighborhood to address issues of building height and massing; amending the GP to resolve inconsistencies between zoning, LUD, and existing uses; amending the GP to incorporate/reflect City policy direction on various issues; and amending the GP to replace existing policies or add new policies related to water, wastewater, reclaimed water, urban forestry, and GHG emissions and climate change.
