Caltrans is proposing to replace two bridges on Interstate 5 (I-5) in Shasta County. The purpose of the proposed project is to provide a safe facility with structural and functional capacity that meets existing and future traffic requirements. The proposed project is needed as the existing bridges are suffering from the effects of age, traffic, and the environment.
