- Document Description
- Sediment has accumulated in stilling wells causing instrumentation to give inaccurate water level readings. DFD staff will suction sediment from the bottom of 16 stilling wells adjacent to the CAAQ, located at eight check locations (two wells per check). A vacuum potholer trailer will suction less than 1 cubic yard of sediment and 4,000 gallons of water total. Removed water and sediment will be discharged into an upland filter-fabric lined containment area near Corral Hollow Road and allowed to percolate into the ground. All work will be within the DWR right of way.
