SMUD, in partnership with the Sacramento area Flood Control Agency (SAFCA), Western Area Power Administration (WAPA), and the city of Sacramento will be constructing a gravel access road with security gate off of Morell Street onto property owned by SAFCA (APM 274-0670-022) and the City (APN 274-0110-033). The construction of this road will serve. Provide SMUD access to one of its transmission towers for maintenance. Provide WAPA access to one of its transmission towers for maintenance. provide SAFCA levee access for constructing a future toe road as a part of its Natomas Basin Project's flood control improvements.
