- The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake or Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2017-0493-R1, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Twin Lakes Estates, represented by Ms. Linda Heape The project is limited to sediment removal in two locations and bank protection within a man-made impoundment, or pond, for purpose of flood protection by increasing channel capacity. A perched gravel bar that has an area of approximately 50 feet x 45 feet will be excavated a depth of 3 feet at the head of the pond where sediment has deposited below the culvert outlet. Additionally, an area approx. 50 feet x 75 feet surrounding the island downstream of the perched gravel bar will be excavated approx. 2 feet in depth to reestablish the original creek bed depth.

Project will restore original capacity of an exiting pond, and not increase the depth or width of the impoundment. Work will be conducted during the dry season when the sediment is not under water.
