Document Description
CDFW has executed Lake or Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2017-0367-R2, pursuant to section 1602 of the fish and game code to Bruce and Catherine Shaw. The project is limited to using an excavator to remove approx 20 cy of built up silt in the center of the cove in addition to scraping the sharp slate outcroppings along the lake perimeter to form a safe swimming area. The excavator will access the lakebed from lot #29 when Tri Dam draws down the water. The exactor will be used to dig and contour the cove to maintain a gentle slope 10:1, jagged slate outcroppings will be scrapped and placed above the 515-ft elevation mark on the property where it will not re-enter the lake or watercourse. Some of the large slate outcroppings that are greater than 1-ft and very dense will remain in place to ensure authentic characteristics of the shoreline.
