Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife ( CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2019-0142-R2, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Amador County Department of Public Works. The proposed project will replace an existing bridge on Carbondale Road spanning Willow Creek with a new structure that will be approximately 30 feet wide and 80 feet in length. The bridge will consist of a cast-in-place, reinforced concrete slab supported on spread footings. The roadway alignment will remain unchanged. The bridge and the roadway profile will be raised by 4 feet to provide additional hydraulic capacity. Construction of the bridge will involve excavation for, and construction of concrete abutments and a central pier supported on spread footings. The installation of rock for scour protection will occur at the support locations for the bridge.
