- Document Description
- The proposed project would replace the existing bridge with a new structure accommodating two 11-ft wide lanes, 2-ft wide shoulders and bridge railings, resulting in an approx bridge width of 29 ft. The new bridge would consist of an 80-ft long two-span, cast in place, reinforced concrete slab supported on spread footings. The roadway alignment would remain unchanged. Along with a longer bridge, the roadway profile would be raised by approx 4 ft to provide required hydraulic capacity. The western roadway approach would begin approx 145 ft east of the Forest Home Rd/Carbondale Rd intersection, approx 400 ft west of the proposed bridge. The eastern approach would begin approx 560 ft east of the new bridge. Silver ROW acquisition would be required on south side of the road.
