- The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2017-0229-R1, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Kevin Minassian. The scope of this project is limited to operation of an existing surface water diversion on Hayfork Creek, maintenance to the existing diversion access to prevent sediment from entering the stream, and management of invasive, exotic plants (limited to removal yellow star thistle and revegetation with native riparian plant species) within 100 yards of the diversion structure. The existing water diversion serves domestic water supply and fire protection uses.

- This project is limited to the operation and maintenance of existing structures and minor alterations to non-native, invasive vegetation. This project, in conformance with measures as outlines in the executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement, will not result in a significant adverse impact on endangered, rare, or threatened species or their habitat pursuant to section 15065. The project will not result in impacts that are significant when viewed in connection with the effects of past projects, the effects of other current projects, and the effects of probable future projects.
