Document Description
The Department of General Services (DGS) proposes a photovoltaic (PV) carport system be installed above an existing parking area located at the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, Wasco State Prison. The proposed Project will include the construction of approximately 4.16 acres of single-story, 12-foot (minimum) PV carport canopies above existing parking areas. The canopies will support solar panels that will produce approximately 2,506 kW of energy. Additionally project features include associated interconnection, power equipment and lighting.
