Document Description
Proposed project seeks to perform geotechnical studies in support of future relocation of valves and future replacement of a gas pipeline which crosses the Petaluma River. The geotechnical studies would include the following: 1) establishment of 7 work areas (approx 1.06 acres), 2) drill of six boring holes, approx 8 in in diameter and up to 100 ft deep. Soil samples will also be collected and monitoring wells will be installed at each location. 3) Excavation of 6 potholes, approx 8 in in diameter and up to 10 ft deep. Excavation of the potholes will allow PG&E to identify the location of existing underground facilities.
