Document Description
Repair a section of collapsed wall in the Winery Ruins in Jack London State Historic Park to allow continued use of this histroic feature and to prevent further deterioration of the wall. Work will: Install temporary wall shoring; Hand clean the stone that fell from the wall and stack close to the wall for reinstallation; Use an approved Natural Hydrualic Lime mortar to repoint the surface areas of the sections of wall that did not collpase; Evaluate the below grade foundation stones of the collapsed section of wall and reset if necessary; Use the cleaned, original stones and approved Natural Hydraulic Lime mortar to reconstruct the collapsed wall section; and Install a lime mortar wall cap the entire length of the wall
