- The project includes nine encroachments. One encroachment is for water diversion from an unnamed tributary to Miners Creek. Water is diverted for domestic use. Work for the water diversion will include use and maintenance of the water diversion infrastructure. The eight other encroachments are to upgrade failing and/or undersized culverts, to remediate riparian areas by revegetation, removal of the existing culverts, replacement with new culverts, backfilling and compaction of fill, rock armoring as necessary to minimize erosion, and revegetation.

- The project proposes to improve road/stream crossings, remediate for impacts to riparian areas, and permit an existing water diversion. There would be no significant adverse impact on endangered, rare or threatened species or their habitat pursuant to section 15065. There are no hazardous materials at or around the project site that may be disturbed or removed. The project will not result in impacts that are significant when viewed in connection with the effects of past projects, the effect of other current projects, and the effects of probable future projects.
