For the benefit of District water users, replace existing concrete block water tank with new steel tank(s) on existing cut/fill pad. Project will increase District's water storage capacity to meet recommended 3 days max demand, but will not increase District's service area, water withdrawals, or customer water entitlements.

Reasons for Exemption
Although the project proposes to replace the existing municipal water tank with a new larger tank, the projects will not involve an expansion of water use of water service capacity. The project will not increase the District's water service area, water supply commitment, or water volume provided. It merely increases the District's water storage volume and improves its water storage to meet current engineering standards.
