Document Description
Caltrans proposes a highway maintenance project involving bridge maintenance at various locations along I-5 throughout Merced and Stanislaus County. A total of 20 bridge structures at 20 locations will be repaired by replacing joint seals, treating bridge deck with methacrylate and repairing unsound concrete, depending on each bridge condition. All proposed work will be performed within the limits of the bridge structures with the exception of construction area signs. The purpose of this project is to delay the future need for major rehabilitation of the bridges. The need for this project is to ensure the bridges remain safe for usage.
