Document Description
Caltrans proposes to improve the pedestrian and bicycle facilities along SR 165 from Geer Ave. at PM 32.87 to August Avenue at PM 34.36 in Hilmar, Merced County. This project proposes to widen existing pavement to install class II bike lanes, construct new sidewalks and reconstruct existing curb ramps. the purpose of this project is to encourage increased use of active modes of transportation. The need for this project is to address adequacy of the existing pedestrian and bike paths, improve connectivity and improve mobility access to everyday needs and services.
